From the centre C describe a circle A B, haying the required diameter ; then place the corner of the square at the centre 0, and draw the lines C D and C E ; then draw the chord D E: three times the diameter added to the distance from the middle of the chord D F E to the middle of the subtending arc D G E, will be the circumference sought.
