On comparing the shaded parts of the patterns in Figs. 190 and 191, it will be seen that they are exactly the same; hence the template for the elbow can also be used to mark out the patterns for the tee-piece. The template can first be fixed in the position of the shaded parts (Fig. 191), and then reversed, to scribe out the other sides. The patterns, of course, could also be struck out by direct measurement, as in the case of the elbows.
