In the present edition many new questions appear and the old answers have been thoroughly revised to conform with recent legislation and jurisprudence. Questions no longer of general interest have been omitted, and all references to the Bills of Exchange Act and to the Bank Act have been verified and brought up to date.

The work has been edited, re-arranged and indexed by Mr. Albert Swindlehurst of the Quebec Bar. In the revision of questions presenting legal problems he has been assisted by Mr. John D. Falconbridge, of the Ontario Bar, author "Banking and Bills of Exchange."
