Common near Victoria and along the coast of the mainland. (Anderson.) New Westminster. (Fletcher.) Drew's Harbor and Queen Charlotte Islands. (Dawson.) Observatory Inlet. (Scouler.) Pitt River. (Hill.) Vancouver City. (Fowler.) Very abundant in damp woods in many parts of Vancouver Island, and in the thick woods in the Fraser Valley near the coast. (Macoun.)
