Olusatrum: annual or biennial; stems coarse, erect, 2-4 feet high, glabrous; lower leaves twice or thrice, upper ones once ternate, the segments broadly ovate, coarsely toothed or three-lobed; umbels terminal, of 8-12 rays; flowers greenish yellow, crowded in the partial umbels; fruits black, aromatic. - Meadows and waste places.
