L. arvensis: annual; stems procumbent at the base, branched, 1-2 feet long, covered with stiff" hairs; leaves lanceolate or oblong-linear, waved, often toothed, the upper ones sessile or stem-clasping; flowers in simple or forked, terminal, one-sided spikes; corolla pale blue, the tube always curved in the middle. - A common weed of cultivation.
