Agastache scrophulariaefblia. -- Family, Mint. Color, purple. Calyx, bell-shape, 5-toothed. Corolla, 2-lipped, the upper lip 2-lobed, erect, the lower 3-lobed, spreading. Flowers, gathered in a close, large spike, 3 to 18 inches long, attended with bracts. Stem, 4-angled. Leaves, softly hairy underneath, acute, ovate or heart-shape, petioled. July to October.

New Hampshire to Wisconsin, southward to Kentucky and North Carolina. Strong-scented.
