Family, Pink. (Generic name means a horn, from size and shape of the pod.) All parts of the flower in fives. Petals, 2 - cleft. Leaves, ovate, oblong, hairy. An annual, rather clammy, rough, 6 to 8 inches high. The tiny flowers are in clusters, terminating the stem. Pods grow quite long on long pedicels. May and June.
