Corallorrhiza maculata. Orchis Family. July - Aug.
Found in dry woods. Nova Scotia, westward to British Columbia, south to Florida, Missouri, and California.
Light yellow, more or less purplish-stained; lower lip white with purplish spots and lines, 3-lobed; borne on spike terminating stem 8 - 20 inches high.
None. Plant stem madder-purple or yellowish.
