Two ounces of butter.
One teaspoonful of curry powder.
Half a pint of vegetable stock.
One tablespoonful of mango chutney. Method. Melt the butter in a casserole, add the chopped onions, and cook until brown. Then add the finely chopped apple and the banana cut into slices. Next stir in the curry powder and proteid food. Stir well and add the vegetable stock. Then add mango chutney, a pinch of salt, and the carrots cut into thin slices or strips. Let all cook together for one hour, then add the hard-boiled eggs, cut in halves, on the top. Serve with plain boiled rice.
