Blend together

1/3 cup soft butter 1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 3 tablespoons top milk

Then stir in

2 cups more sifted confectioners' sugar

Beat hard to make the icing fluffy.

Add a little more milk or sugar if you need it to make the icing just right to spread.
