Then beat in
Add
1 egg, well beaten
2 tablespoons sugar pinch of salt
1 cup cold milk 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup cracked ice (see page 62)
Pour into two glasses.
Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Serve immediately.
