1 pound of bread dough, add 2 eggs, 1/4 cup butter. Mix well and add flour to stiffen. Roll thin, and spread with melted butter, cinnamon, currants, chopped dates, sugar and a little citron. Roll, cut and place in a baking pan. Let rise till very light, then put a small piece of butter on each, and sprinkle with a little powdered sugar. Just before putting in the oven, pour a very little boiling water about the cakes. Bake in a moderate oven in a well greased pan.
