- One Dozen Two eggs, 2 tablespoons sugar, 4tablespoonsmelted shortening, 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1 cupsweet milk,2cups graham flour(Sperry Graham), sifted, 2 teaspoonsbaking powder, slightly heaping.

One cupful of boiled rice, 1 cupful of sweet milk, 2 eggs, well beaten, 5 tablespoons melted butter, 1/2 teaspoonful salt, 1 teaspoonful sugar, 3 teaspoonfuls baking powder, 1 1/2 cup-fuls of flour (Sperry Drifed Snow), mixed into soft batter; stir lightly and thoroughly and drop into hot muffin rings.

One egg, 1 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 cups flour (Sperry Drifted Snow), 2 teaspoons of baking powder; beat 5 minutes; bake 20 minutes.
