A little salt.
1 tablespoonful melted butter.
1 tablespoonful flour. 1 egg (may be omitted).
Mix together, having beaten the egg. Make into floured balls, flatten them, and fry in a hot frying-pan, in which has been melted a large tablespoonful of lard. Fry quickly and serve at once, while crisp.
