Allow one medium-sized banana to each person. Slice into sauce dishes; dip over fruit two or three tablespoons cranberry juice which has been sweetened with corn syrup. Cherry, red raspberry, or red currant juice may be used. Or serve half a banana to each person, and with it red currants, cut oranges, or strawberries, which have stood in sugar an hour or so; or stewed cranberries or peaches.
