1 quart corn meal

1 1/4 quarts Graham flour

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon soda

1 pt. sweet milk or water

1 pint sour milk 1 1/2 cups molasses 2 well-beaten eggs 1 or 2 cups nuts 2 cups raisins

Mix fruit with a little of the measured flour. Sift dry ingredients together. Beat eggs, add milk and molasses; combine mixtures. Add fruit and nuts, turn into oiled molds, steam three or more hours. Serve cold or nearly so.
