A hearty sandwich is made from a cup of cold ham minced fine, with five olives and one tender stalk of celery, spread between thin slices of white bread, with just a tiny bit of salad dressing. This mixture can be made at any time when the ingredients are at hand, and kept in a covered bowl in the ice box. Then if hungry young people arrive unexpectedly, a very few moments will suffice to produce a big plateful of sandwiches.
