A pretty Japanese shrub, 3-5 ft. high, with green stems, lance-shaped serrate leaves, and orange-yellow flowers. There is a good double-flowered form (flore pleno), a white-flowered one (alba), and one with silver variegated leaves. Grows in any garden soil, and increased by cuttings.
