One of our best Winter-blooming shrubs, having ternate leaves and white sweet-scented flowers. It should have a place even in the smallest collection, being of dwarf bushy habit and very free-flowering. It grows in any good garden soil.

Propagate by cuttings put into half sand half leaf-soil in a cold frame in early May or as soon as the blooming season is over or in August after the young wood is half-ripe.
