The Mandevilla is one of our most handsome climbers, its elegant twining habit and its pure white fragrant flowers making it very desirable for training against walls or trellises. It thrives in any good soil, but should not be grown in cold exposed situations.

Propagate by seeds sown one-eighth of an inch deep, in heat in early Spring; plant them singly in small pots as soon as they are large enough to be handled; gradually harden them and plant them out in early Summer.

Mandevilla suaveolens.
