The Streptosolen is one of the finest of our trailing or creeping shrubs and is admirably adapted for covering slopes, for hanging over walls or for carpeting the ground among tall shrubs, its tubular orange-colored flowers being very attractive.

Propagation of the Streptosolen is effected by cuttings placed in a cold frame, during October, in sandy leaf-mold. Late in the following Spring, or as soon as the cuttings are well rooted, they should be planted in pots or in the open border.
