The Ankle.—1. Friction with thumbs on tarsal and round ankle bones.
2. Effleurage.
3. Kneading with heel of hand.
4. Passive movements.
With one hand the lower end of the leg is grasped, with the other the foot above the toes ; the palm is placed on the sole, the fingers over the inner border. Flexion, extension, etc., same as wrist.
Resistive movements same as wrist.
