Drachms
1. Jamaica Ginger Powder 2
Stimulates action of stomach and bowels.
2. Capsicum Powder 1/4
Increases the blood flow to affected parts.
3. Rhatany Root Powder 1 1/2
Has powerful astringent properties.
4. Ladies Slipper Root 1 1/2
Quiets the affected nerves.
5. Tormentil Root 1 1/2
Useful astringent in Diarrhea and Dysentery.
6. Red Oak Bark Root 1 1/2
Stops mucous discharges, acts as an antiseptic.
7. Gum Camphor Powder 1/2
Refreshes and revives body functions.
8. Oil of Peppermint 1/2
Allays griping and spasms, aids digestion.
9. Tincture Valerian 22 1/2
Relieves spasms and cramps.
10. Ether 2 1/2
Relieves pain and spasms.
Extract the powders with the liquids for 2 to 3 days, then strain and add
No. 8.
Directions: Take 15 to 20 drops 3 or 4 times a day in warm water. These
drops may be added to the infusion made in Formula No. 93: Tea
for Diarrhea.
