The Leaves.
(Rubus strigosus and others)
The red raspberry is so well known that it needs no description. The leaves are a valuable astringent, useful in bowel complaints, and for external applications to moisten poultices for burns, etc., and for washing sore nipples. A strong tea is an excellent article, says Dr. Thomson, to regulate the labor pains of women in travail.
