U. S. Standard, or Wine Measure.—Sixty minims are equal to 1 fluidrachm.
Eight fluidrachms are equal to 1 fluid-ounce.
Sixteen fluidounces are equal to 1 pint.
Two pints are equal to 1 quart. Four quarts are equal to 1 gallon. One pint of distilled water weighs about 1 pound.
