Tallow soap....... 16 pounds
Tartaric acid...... 1.25 pounds
Grind until pasty, afterwards press into blocks by the machine.
Levigated flint..... 60 pounds

Water............. 2 gallons
Dissolve the soda in water and add to the tallow; when saponified, stir in the others, pressing as before.
