A singular kind of antelope, sometimes called the horned horse, and found in South Africa. It is about the size of a half-grown colt. It has short brown hair and a white tail, and a mane on its neck. It has low bent horns and cloven feet, which have all the lightness of those of the stag. Its flesh is like venison, and is much esteemed.
