Spiderwort, the Marsh, Marsh-Tofieldia, Or Scotch Asphodel, Anthericum calycula-tum, L. (Toficldia palustris of i and Withering), a native perennial, which grows in bogs, on mountains in Scotland, and flowers from July to September. - This plan:, though useless in domestic nomy, deserves some notice; use it may serve as a guide to dig for peal, in situations destitute of sea-coal.
