192. For drying the gold, I suggest that a convenient arrangement would be a sheet-iron closet, in the form of a muffle, in the dust chamber, with a door which could be locked. In this the dishes containing the gold could be left with safety and convenience as long as necessary. A similar but larger closet could be used for drying the silver precipitate. Such a closet is represented at l, Plate 7.
