A delivery by the obligor to the agent of the obligee, without imposing any conditions or restrictions, is in legal effect a delivery to the obligee himself. Thus a non-negotiable note,1 or a negotiable note,2 or an insurance policy,3 delivered unconditionally to the agent of the obligee take effect at once.
