Paragraph 31. The original percale was probably made of linen, although a great deal of percale is now made of a good grade of cotton. It is closely woven, with the figure woven into the material, somewhat similar to gingham. It is used for shirts, dresses and aprons. Most common width, 36". Usual price per yard, 12 1/2c to 15c.
