Bathe with hot water, or apply a boracic fomentation made by wringing a piece of cottonwool out of hot boracic lotion (one teaspoonful of the powder to a breakfastcupful of water). Lay this on the eye and cover with oiled silk and a folded handkerchief or bandage. Treat the general health.
