Cream, or rich milk, 1 1/2 cups,

Worcestershire, 1/2 teaspoon,

Cream cheese, cut fine, 1/2 pound,

Egg, well beaten, 1,

English walnut-meats, chopped, 3/4 cup,

Olives, chopped, 1/3 cup,

Butter (only if milk is used), 1 tablespoon,

Paprika, 1/4 salt-spoon.

Put the cream in the chafing-dish, and when hot, add the cheese and stir until it is dissolved. Add the paprika, Worcestershire, and the beaten egg, and stir all well together.

Cover, and let it cook for 5 minutes, then spread, first the chopped nuts, then the chopped olives on the top, pressing them in with a fork.

Cook for 5 minutes longer, and then serve.
