Hard clams, 1 pint,
Soft clams, 1 pint,
Onions, minced, 2,
Milk, 1 pint,
Salt-pork, - cut in thin strips, 1/4 pound,
Water, 2 quarts.
The onions and pork should be browned in the bottom of the pot; then add, all chopped fine, the clams, potatoes and carrots.
Add the water and cook slowly for several hours. Just before serving add the milk, and stir it well in.
