Dried apples, 3 cups, Molasses, 3 cups, Sugar, 1 cup, Sour milk, 1 cup, Flour, 3 cups, Eggs, 2,
Butter, 3/4 cupful, Stoned raisins, 1 cup, Soda, 2 teaspoons, Ground cloves, 1 teaspoon, Ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon.
Soak the apples overnight. Chop them fine and simmer in the molasses for 2 hours, and let them cool.
When cold, add all the other ingredients, the eggs being well beaten; stir all thoroughly together and pour into a large tin, and bake in a slow oven.
