Flour, 4 pounds,
Butter, 1 3/4 pounds,
Sugar,1 1/2 pounds,
Sweet almonds, 1/2 pound,
Bitter almonds, 1/4 pound,
Citron, 6 ounces,
Eggs, 4,
Raisins, 1 pound,
Currants, 1 pound,
Warm milk, 1 quart,
Seasoning, spices, and rosewater.
Make the dough with flour, etc., and set it to rise with yeast. The butter and other ingredients are worked in afterwards.
