Boiled rice, 1 cup, Flour, 1 cup, Butter, 1/2 cup, Sweet milk, 1 quart, Salt, 1 teaspoon, Soda, 1 teaspoon.
Stir the rice in the milk and let it stand for half an hour, and then add the salt, butter, flour and soda, the latter being dissolved in a little cold water.
