Rice, 1 cup,
Small, fresh tomatoes, 4 (or, 1/2 a can),
Green pepper, 1, large,
Onion, chopped, 1/2.
Chop the onion fine, and cut the pepper into quarters. Add the tomatoes, either canned or fresh, and place all together in a spider well greased with olive oil.
Put in the rice, and just enough hot water to keep the mixture moist. Salt it, and cook slowly for 1 hour or more.
