2 tablespoonfuls of Barley Kernels.

1 pint of Milk.

1 tablespoonful of Sugar.

2 oz. Muscatels.

How To Make:

Put the barley kernels, milk and sugar into a pie dish and bake in a slow oven for half an hour (stirring occasionally); then take out of the oven and stir well and add the muscatels, and cook for another half hour.

Barley kernels can be obtained at any Grocer's or Health Food Stores at 4d. per 1 1b. packet. They are the finest barley kernels without the husk, rolled.
