Present name. - Argentic Cyanide. AgCN.
Prepared by precipitation from a solution of Nitrate of Silver by Cyanide of Potassium, and washing the precipitate with the same precautions as those named under Argenti Chloridum. It is a white powder. No proving has been made, but there is a notice of its effects in Marcy and Peters' New Mat. Med.
Preparation. - Trituration, which must be kept in the dark.
