Prepared by the action of Nitric Acid on Benzol; when acted upon by reducing agents, such as Zinc and Hydrochloric Acid, Sulphuretted Hydrogen, etc., Nitro-benzol is converted into Aniline.
It may be obtained from the operative chemists.
