The internal use of Turpentine appears, in these cases, to hasten the healing process. Mr. H. Hancock, § of Charing Cross Hospital, relates a case illustrative of its efficacy. Water dressings were applied locally, it and the following mixture was given internally: -
Sp. Tere binth. f3vj., Pulv. Acacias 3vj., Aq. Menth. Pip. fvij., M. sumat. fj. ter in die.
