Hamilton, of Dublin, regards a somewhat protracted course of Mercury till the mouth is sore as the only certain means of cure. The mercurial action should be kept up for six or eight weeks. When the swelling is reduced, Iodide of Potassium will effect a cure. Dilute Iodine ointment may be applied locally, in the later stages.
