Latin, Viburnum Opulus
Eng., Viburnum Opulus. Synonym, Cramp Bark. The dried bark of Viburnum opulus. Average Dose.-30 grains (2 Gm.).
Eng., Fluidextract of Viburnum Opulus.
30 minims (2 Cc).
Nerve sedative, antispasmodic, diuretic.
Employed in the treatment of dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, threatened abortion, etc.
Probably the most common employment is in the form of the Elixir, as in the following for dysmenorrhea:

Teaspoonful every hour until relieved.
