Two eggs; 1 lemon; butter size of walnut; 2 tablespoonfuls flour. Grate lemon, also juice, mix with 1 cup sugar, flour, yolks of 2 eggs; cook in 2 cups of hot water; beat whites, sprinkle sugar, brown in oven. - Mae Lampman.

Lemon Pie

Have ready baked a nice under crust; stir together 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon flour; over this pour 1 cup boiling water, and boil 10 minutes; next add a lump of butter, juice of 1 lemon, 1 beaten egg yolk, and boil up once; beat the egg white stiff, add a little powdered sugar, spread lightly over pie. Lemon Pie

Grated rind and juice of 2 lemons; 1 1/2 cups white sugar; 2 heaping tablespoons unsifted flour or 1 heaping tablespoon corn starch; yolks of 3 eggs; 2 cups water; butter size of walnut; cook in double broiler until thickens; when cold pour in pie crust already baked; use whites of eggs for meringue on top.
