We are crowded this month, and have hardly room for all the long correspondence on hand in regard to this plant. It seems sufficient to note that Nana & Neuner say they were aware that an attempt was made to impose on two eastern firms a kind which was " far from being the Diamond which we offer." They "know it to be just as they represented it," except that it was an error to say as we did, "five to eight inches;"it should be" fifteen to eighteen inches." But, since the question has been raised, they decided not to sell till they had exhibited plants this summer, so that all could see for themselves. This seems fair enough.
