Found in rich woods. Nova Scotia to Georgia, westward to Minnesota and Indiana.
White, small, in clusters on stalk 6 - 12 inches high.
Lobed and toothed. Hairy throughout, springing from the base.
Foam-flower: False Mitrewort.
