Baird & Tuttle, Bloomington, Ill., write: "Referring to the note in the January Monthly in regard to yellows in the peach tree, we would ask is not the disease confined to orchards from Eastern grown trees? Do peach orchards that are planted with trees which are raised in the West from Western seedling peaches suffer from the yellows? From our observation and experience we will say Western grown seedling peaches are free from this disease. We would like to hear from parties who have experience on the subject".
