The disease termed "Turnside" by some writers, and said to resemble the "gid" in sheep, presents somewhat similar symptoms to the above. The disease is always fatal, and examination after death has shown the existence of hydatids, or of spiculae of bone projecting from the inner surface of the cranial bones, or of some other organic lesion.
